The Nib
I have been commissioned to create three comic strips for The Nib, an online magazine that deals with ‘political satire, journalism and non-fiction on what is going down in the world. All in comics form, the best medium.’ These two comics were titled ‘What it’s like to be a nurse during COVID 19’ and ‘Back to the land’.
I was also commissioned to contribute to their published book ‘Nature’, where I made six full-page sequential illustrations, acting as chapter breaks. Each page of the strip showed the same view of a small plot of land and told the story of how it changes over time, from being developed into an urban space and then being reclaimed by nature.
